Mercury Table

The Mercury table was inspired by the effect of surface tension on liquids such as water or mercury. Much like a drop of water beading up on a freshly waxed car, the mirror polished stainless steel top is emulating a drop of mercury sitting on a flat surface. Constructed with steel and stainless steel.

Manufactured by MPS as part of the RE/BUILD exhibition, currently on display at Brooklyn's Gallery 1889.
